Responsibilities: * Provide technical support to the field as well as pre-sales support and customer directed field trials * Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction * Work cross-functionally as required and keep all parties apprised of sales activities, concerns and wins * Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting * Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions * Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions * Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs * Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities * Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships * Manage the use of budgets ### Desired Skills and Experience Requirements: * BA/BS degree and at least seven years sales experience in related industries (Energy/Utilities/Science) * A proven track record of success (enterprise/carrier grade products) * Experience selling analytics, data, predictive modeling, or business intelligence software * Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels * Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners * Keen understanding and appreciation of selling into large enterprise customers with traditionally long sales cycles * Selling hybrid (hardware and software) products a plus * Willingness to travel as needed (>50%) ## Apply [Apply on Example]() Canonical job page:
