You would be #14**. **Role Description** We’re looking for an **AI-native engineer** who doesn’t just write code — but **uses AI as a core part of how they build, think, and ship**. As an early engineer, you’ll help shape our product and have an important voice in decisions regarding the technical stack, direction, and vision. This is a full-time Software Engineering role. The current team is in San Francisco, and this role is in person at Multiply HQ. We work hard and we know we're building a generational company. If you're looking for the ride of a lifetime, this might just be what you're looking for. **What you'll do** * Build **0 → 1 product features** quickly and iterate based on real customer feedback * Design and ship systems that **embed LLMs and AI agents into core workflows** * Orchestrate multi-step AI systems (agents, evals, feedback loops, etc.) * Own features end-to-end: idea → build → deploy → iterate * Work directly with founders on **product, roadmap, and technical direction** * Help improve our **engineering culture, tooling, and velocity** * Play a key role in building and mentoring the early team **What We Mean by “AI-Native”** You should already be using tools like: **Cursor, Claude Code, Codex / OpenAI APIs** or similar AI-assisted development workflows, as a **core part of how you build software**, not as an afterthought. **Qualifications** * 3+ years experience building software with a strong track record and ability to work full-stack * Startup mindset — resourceful, sharp, and entrepreneurial, who is excited to take early ownership * Love to move fast, to learn, and to always-be-improving * Experience using LLMs in production and interest in staying at the cutting edge of AI * Experience in designing and building scalable systems.
