Our students are career changers looking for realistic, entry-level opportunities — and coaching helps bridge the gap between coursework and landing the job. ### About the Role We’re looking for a **part-time HVAC Career Coach** to support students through live workshops and optional 1:1 coaching. This is **not a traditional employment role** and **not a guaranteed-income position**. It’s a flexible, paid opportunity best suited for experienced HVAC technicians who enjoy mentoring, teaching, and helping others break into the trade — with upside if students choose to work with you. ### How This Role Actually Works * You host a **live, one-hour workshop** (seminar-style) for students * You are paid **$50 per workshop**, plus **any private coaching business you acquire** * You may receive **exclusive coaching opportunities** based on performance and engagement * Workshops are used to provide value, answer questions, and showcase your real-world experience * If students choose to book you for 1:1 coaching, **you keep the coaching revenue** * You set your own availability and working hours There is **no requirement to convert students** — workshops are paid regardless — but conversion is where the upside comes from. ### Responsibilities * Host a **live, one-hour workshop** on a monthly basis * Answer student questions about HVAC careers and the job search * Share real-world insight into what **entry-level HVAC roles, apprenticeships, and certifications** actually look like * Provide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request it ### What We’re Looking For * **3+ years of professional HVAC experience** (residential, commercial, or industrial) * Familiarity with entry-level roles, apprenticeships, and certification pathways (EPA 608, etc.) * Interest in mentoring and helping career changers enter the trades * Strong communication and teaching ability * Availability **at least three evenings per week**, ideally Tuesday–Thursday * Self-starter mindset — comfortable leading workshops independently ### Ideal Fit This role is a great fit if you: * Enjoy teaching and mentoring * Want flexible, side income * Like the idea of being paid to teach — with optional upside * Don’t need guaranteed hours or full-time income ### Compensation * **$50 per one-hour workshop (One per month guaranteed)** * Unlimited upside from 1:1 coaching sessions you convert * No caps, no quotas, no minimums ## Apply [Apply on Coursecareers]() Canonical job page:
