# Kids Ministry Assistant - Company: [Christfellowship]() - Location: Okeechobee, Florida - Team: Kids - Posted: March 9, 2026 ## Job description **JOB SUMMARY:** The Christ Fellowship **Kids Ministry Assistant** provides support and care for every aspect of the Children’s Ministry area. **JOB DUTIES:** * Involved in selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team. * Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience. * Supporting weekend and midweek programming as directed. * Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team. * Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed. * Serve as a PHASE expert. **EDUCATION:** * Degree in progress; a focus in education/ministry is a plus. * Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer. **JOB SPECS:** Classification: Part-time (25 hours) Hourly (non - exempt) position including weekends and some week nights.
