Lukes Way, The Woodlands, TX 77384 - Team: X-Ray - Employment type: Full-Time - Posted: September 9, 2026 ## Job description **Duties and Responsibilities** * Perform limited diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols * Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging exams to ensure comfort and accuracy * Operate and maintain radiologic and DEXA equipment safely and effectively * Ensure proper radiation safety practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff * Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation of procedures * Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines * Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment * Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members * Recognize equipment malfunctions and report issues promptly * Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient needs and concerns * Perform other duties as assigned **Education and Experience** * High school diploma or equivalent required * Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (limited scope or equivalent) * Current registration as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist as required by the state * Valid CPR certification required * Previous clinical or radiology experience preferred but not required **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** * Knowledge of basic radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning techniques * Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control standards * Ability to operate radiographic and DEXA equipment competently * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care * Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple tasks * Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients, including lifting up to 40 pounds *Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
