# Linux System Administrator / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer \(NINSEA-AE4-13\.061724bk\) - Company: [Capitalsolutionsgroup]() - Location: Linthicum Heights, Maryland - Team: Engineering ~~ Systems - Employment type: Full-Time \(FT\) - Posted: June 17, 2024 ## Job description SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required POSITION: Senior System Administrator REQUISITION: NINSEA-AE4-13.061724bk LOCATION:   Linthicum Heights, Maryland JOB DESCRIPTION:  • Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment  • Support the project’s compliance and security posture.  • Focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.  • Check emails for alerts  • Check VM's (virtual machines) health status  • Address any outages  • Install latest patches on EC2 Instances/VMs • Ensure Orgs production website is working • Run Monthly Security Scans on systems  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (of the position):  • Lead implementation of Accreditation process according to DISA stigs, CIS Benchmarks and NIST • Build ansible playbooks to enhance security and compliance posture of centos, and Amazon Linux 2 OS’s. • Collaborate with interdependent organizations to achieve mission objectives • Administer/maintain AWS EC2 cloud infrastructure and Utilize Docker to scale up cloud assets. • Continuously monitor the health and status of security tool suites through IT system management. • Maintain, upgrade, refresh, and update to maintain full operational capacity. • Utilize grafana to monitor health of systems • Write scripts to manage maturity of system redundancy • Troubleshoot degradation of application performance and infrastructure via docker queries • Collaborate and coordinate with ancillary organizations to procure, deliver, dispose, and track and new HW/SW required for solution implementation. • Prepare Configuration Plans, SW enhancement plans, and engineer solutions to easily interface with UI and/or web front-end interfaces. • Partake in gathering an analyzing user requirements • Develop and code software solutions via yaml • Debug existing and newly developed software and correct insufficiencies • Test and integrate systems into legacy applications • Write up MySQL data queries to derive mission-essential data for metrics REQUIRED SKILLS - with strong experience in:     ➢ Linux system administration     ➢ Docker     ➢ AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience     ➢ GitLab Pipeline     ➢ Ansible Pipeline  DESIRED SKILLS:     ➢ Elasticsearch     ➢ Cloud hosting and automation       ➢ Splunk LCAT QUALIFICATIONS:  CERTIFICATION:  N/A EXPERIENCE:  • High school + 12 years minimum experience, OR • Associates degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years minimum experience, OR • Master’s degree + 6 years minimum experience, OR • Doctorate’s degree + 4 years minimum experience. ## Apply [Apply on Capitalsolutionsgroup]() Canonical job page:
