This is hands-on, process-driven work: you'll open, sort, prep, and scan documents into our digital systems and make sure nothing gets lost or misfiled. ## **What You'll Do** * Receive, open, and sort incoming mail daily * Prep documents for scanning (remove staples, flatten pages, order pages correctly) * Scan documents using office scanners; verify scans are complete and legible * Name, tag, and upload scanned files following our filing conventions * Flag time-sensitive or unusual mail items for the operations team * Maintain an organized, tidy mailroom and secure handling of physical documents * Shred or archive originals per our retention procedures ## **What We're Looking For** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work and staying organized under volume * Reliable and punctual; able to work independently after training * Discretion with confidential material * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations * Hardworking and ready to jump into a startup environment ## **Details** * **Schedule:** 20-25 hours/week, Monday–Friday during business hours (flexible within that window) * **Duration:** Temporary — approximately 2 months, with possible extension * **Start date:** ASAP * **Compensation:** $20–$25/hour depending on experience, paid weekly * **Location:** Fully on-site at our SF office in SOMA ## Apply [Apply on Tavrn]() Canonical job page:
