This role blends hands-on sewing line operations with efficient packaging responsibilities, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of production. All team members will begin their training in strap manufacturing/packing and remain until a satisfactory knowledge of our products is acquired. We produce a wide range of products, so attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused in a repetitive environment is critical. ### **Physical Requirements:** * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. * Regular team lifting of materials over 60 lbs in accordance with safety guidelines. * Sit or stand for the majority of the shift. * Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting. * Operate hand tools and material handling equipment safely. * Perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms. ## **Primary areas of focus within our Manufacturing:** Tie Down (Strap Manufacturing) * Read and understand work orders. * Audit orders for accuracy. * Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble transportation tie-down straps. * Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. * Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner. Tie Down Packing * Maintain order accuracy through proper documentation and organization. * Pack numerous different orders efficiently and accurately off of a conveyor belt, ensuring products are prepared for shipment in a timely manner. * Lift 50ilbs repeatedly. Able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time. * Utilizing NetSuite and ShipHawk software to manage production records, entering completion data, building work orders and updating inventory. * Follow Lean manufacturing principles to help reduce waste and improve efficiency in packing and overall processes. * Communicating effectively with team members and working to ensure a smooth flow of operations. * Comfortable working in a high-speed, fast-paced environment with frequent task changes.
