You thrive in startup environments, have strong technical chops (React / Next / Node / TypeScript required), and you want to build tools and experiences that empower others. We celebrate craft and nerd out about bringing obsessive attention to detail in our products. ## The role You will join our product engineering team working across our SDK and the web application, collaborating closely with product and design. Your work will impact both end-users of [tldraw.com](http://tldraw.com) and enterprise customers building on our SDK. Key responsibilities include: * Build, maintain and scale core features of the tldraw web app and SDK (React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript) * Collaborate with design, product and engineering to shape new experiences: ideate, prototype, ship and iterate * Contribute to and maintain developer-facing documentation, code samples and SDK usage patterns (ensuring our SDK remains world-class) * Monitor performance, reliability, and developer-gravity of our platform; proactively identify friction points and improve them * Participate in an experimental culture: build viral demos, iterate fast, embrace creative tooling ideas * Work across the stack when needed: focus on UI and interaction design but able to also help maintain backend services and APIs ## You should have * Strong hands-on experience building modern web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript * Experience on high-agency teams where you’ve shipped meaningful features and helped shape the product * Excellent problem-solving mindset.
