About High Tech High 
 
Developed by a coalition of San Diego civic leaders and educators, High Tech High (“HTH”) opened in September 2000 as a small public project-based charter school with plans to serve approximately 450students. HTH has evolved into an integrated network of sixteen charter schools serving approximately 6,500 students in grades K-12 across four San Diego County campuses (Point Loma, Clairemont, North County, and Chula Vista). JOB FUNCTION/ DESCRIPTION
Plan, organize, and manage all facets of the organization’s robotics programs; provide administrative oversight and technical expertise for robotics programs and projects.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, organize, and manage innovative robotics program activities for students
Provide administrative oversight of the robotics programs and services
Provide technical expertise, information, and assistance to Directors regarding assigned functions; assist in the formulation and development of robotics programs
Communicate with Directors, staff members, Executive Leadership, families, students, and outside organizations to coordinate robotics activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts, and exchange information
Act as a resource to staff, families, and the community
Identify and support the development of partnerships, including FIRST Robotics, to improve the robotics programs
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS 
Content and theory of action that drives development of skills for student participants in the program
Oral and written communication skills
Principles and practices of administration, supervision, and training
Understanding of applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
Ability to provide leadership and direction in assigned functions
Maintain current knowledge of applicable provisions of federal, state, and district laws, rules, and regulations
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
Prepare comprehensive narrative and statistical reports
Interpret, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures
