Review our [Statement of Faith](https://adflegal.org/about-us/careers/statement-of-faith/) to ensure we’re a fit for you. **Locations:**Dallas, TX; Scottsdale, AZ **Team Overview** We are seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our Office of the General Counsel with specialized experience in employment law and data privacy and protection.  This role will serve as a strategic legal advisor on complex workforce matters, data compliance issues, and other legal representation matters, supporting our mission-driven organization in maintaining the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance, across our global organization.  **Key Responsibilities** * Assist General Counsel in leading efforts to provide core legal services to ADF and its subsidiary entities. * Provide strategic legal counsel on all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including compliance with global, state, and federal laws and regulations; conduct internal investigations; draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and policies; advise on compensation practices; and provide relevant legal support to HR, leaders, and other stakeholders. * Manage litigation and disputes directly or indirectly involving ADF corporate entities or officers as parties, including employment-related matters, working with outside counsel, as appropriate. * Advise on data privacy, protection, and security matters to ensure global compliance. * Proactively protect ADF corporate entities from legal and non-legal threats. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, Development, and program teams. * Provide training to team members in relevant areas. * Interact with outside counsel, as necessary. * Stay current on legal developments affecting the ministry and communicate impacts to stakeholders. * Handle special projects assigned by the General Counsel. **Minimum Qualifications** * J.D., active license in at least one US state bar, and capable of meeting admission requirements in relevant jurisdiction within one year * 10+ years of relevant experience * Ability to travel overnight and international travel, as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * In-house experience and big law background * Global employment law experience * Experience in international regulatory law **Pay & Benefits** At Alliance Defending Freedom, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to support your well-being and growth.
