Anello is currently shipping product and engaged in late-stage trials with various market-leading customers in the Construction, Farming, Trucking, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, and National Security segments. **Job Summary:** Inertial Measurement Units are a fundamental part of modern consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics. ANELLO is developing next generation INS and IMU sensor technology based on silicon photonics based gyroscope technology. The Sr. EE / HW Engineer will own critical aspects of the electrical architecture and implementation, ranging from schematic board design and layout to bring-up, debug, and validation. In this role you will help shape future ANELLO products with a strong sense of ownership and a product-first mentality. You will help identify opportunities and drive new ideas into action, through both hands-on technical work and thoughtful cross-functional collaboration. **Responsibilities:** * Ownership of electrical product design from concept to delivery to manufacturing, proactively anticipating and addressing potential roadblocks * Create interface boards and systems for manufacturing * Manage electrical engineering CAD tools and libraries * Work with hardware team to select components and write hardware design specifications for board level assemblies * Design schematics and board layouts of medium to high complexity mixed signal PCBA * Work closely with Sr ME to ensure board fitment, clearances, and thermal issues are considered during board layout * Export accurate manufacturing info to key vendors to ensure board fabrication quality * Export accurate BOM information to purchasing team * Inspect first articles for IPC610 workmanship * Assist with board bring up, debug and standard EE lab work **Requirements:** * BSEE or MSEE degree with emphasis on Analog, Mixed Signal, and DSP Design * 7+ years’ experience with schematic design, ideally w/Altium for schematic capture and board layout * Experience in system designs from concept to mass production * Experience with sensor integration including MEMS and GNSS RF design * Front-end power supply protection for products * Communication buses including RS-232, RS-422, CAN, Ethernet, SPI * Track record of delivering working product at product-oriented companies * Excellent communications skills * Passion for continuous learning and exploring new technologies is highly valued. **Additional Information****:** * Due to U.S. government contract requirements ANELLO works under, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
