# Senior Fullstack Engineer - Company: [Clera]() - Location: remote - Team: Engineering - Employment type: Full Time - Salary: $150K – $220K - Posted: September 8, 2026 ## Job description ### About the Role This is a ground-floor opportunity on an early engineering team at an AI-native fintech SaaS company building modern financial planning and analysis software. You will work closely with technical leadership to design and ship features that have a direct, meaningful impact on the product and the finance teams who rely on it every day. ### What You'll Do * Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap. * Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end. * Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack. * Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team culture. * Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product. ### What We're Looking For * At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture. * Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. * Strong experience building frontends with React; balanced full-stack or strongly frontend-focused backgrounds are a great fit. * Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Experience using MongoDB as an application database. * Experience with BigQuery for data analytics and querying large datasets. * Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. * Comfortable owning ambiguous problems and delivering end-to-end solutions independently. * Strong collaboration skills with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams. * Ability to work remotely from the Americas and thrive in a distributed team environment. * Interest in AI-focused product engineering is a plus. ### Compensation & Benefits Salary range: **$150,000 to $220,000 USD annually.** Visa sponsorship is available. ### Location Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States. ## Apply [Apply on Clera]() Canonical job page:
