Job Summary:
We are looking for an AI-native Cross-Domain Developer to join our team full-time and support development across the blockchain stack for our in-house DeFi protocol. This position offers an exciting role as part of a small and dynamic team, with the ability to shape and impact technical decisions and direction while leveraging modern AI tooling to ship faster and smarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend tooling and services in Rust, and protocol code in Solidity and TypeScript, leveraging AI coding agents and copilots throughout the development workflow.
- Design and build on-chain connectors, solvers, and cross-chain intent infrastructure that feed our DeFi yield strategies.
- Work closely with the Smart Contract and Yielding/Quant teams to align on protocol specs and strategy execution.
- Build and maintain test suites, static analysis, and multi-chain E2E testing pipelines, using AI to expand coverage and surface edge cases.
- Optimize for low latency and high-throughput EVM transaction inclusion.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for on-chain protocols and off-chain infrastructure.
- Work closely with the broader engineering and investment teams to automate internal processes and support capital deployment decisions with on-chain data and insights.
Key Requirements:
- 3 years professional software development experience.
- 2 years professional Rust experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Ethereum ecosystem, with hands-on Solidity and/or TypeScript.
- AI-native: deep fluency with modern AI tools (LLMs, coding agents, copilots) as a core, daily part of how you build, debug, research, and learn.
- Familiarity with Rust and TypeScript Ethereum libraries (Alloy, Foundry, Viem, ethers) and comfort writing tests, reading smart contracts, and reasoning about on-chain systems.
- Experience with DeFi protocol design, cross-chain/intents systems, or solver development is a strong plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: independent, self-motivated, and driven — open-source contributions, grants, or founding/early-stage roles are a strong signal.
- Strong work ethic, team player, and detail-oriented.
- Based in Switzerland and able to work full-time from our office in Zug.
