The CSA QAQC Manager serves as the General Contractor's lead quality representative responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) program for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scopes on hyperscale data center construction projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that all site civil, concrete, structural steel, architectural, building envelope, and finish work is executed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, approved submittals, applicable codes, industry standards, and owner requirements. The CSA QAQC Manager leads inspections, manages subcontractor quality compliance, oversees deficiency resolution, and maintains all quality records from project inception through turnover.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.
  • 7-10+ years of QA/QC, construction management, field engineering, or superintendent experience.
  • Experience on hyperscale data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, or large commercial construction projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of: Earthwork and grading, Underground utilities, Concrete construction, Reinforcing steel, Structural steel, Roofing systems, Building envelope systems, and Architectural finishes
  • Experience with inspection and testing programs.
  • Experience utilizing Procore, ACC, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
  • Ability to review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and test reports.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation and administration of the project-specific CSA Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Program.
  • Ensure all Civil, Structural, and Architectural work is performed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, approved submittals, applicable codes, and owner requirements.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce quality standards and inspection procedures throughout all phases of construction.
  • Perform routine field inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship, material compliance, and installation accuracy.
  • Coordinate and participate in preparatory, initial phase, benchmark, First-of-Kind (FOK), and follow-up inspections.
  • Review and monitor subcontractor quality control programs and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure all required inspections are completed prior to work progression.
  • Oversee quality control activities for site civil construction including earthwork, grading, underground utilities, storm drainage systems, paving, and site improvements.
  • Verify compaction testing, utility testing, material certifications, and civil inspection reports meet project requirements.
  • Manage quality control activities for concrete construction including foundations, slabs-on-grade, elevated slabs, equipment pads, and structural concrete elements.
  • Coordinate and review reinforcing steel inspections, anchor bolt inspections, concrete placement inspections, and concrete testing reports.
  • Oversee structural steel quality activities including fabrication reviews, erection inspections, bolting inspections, welding inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Review special inspection reports and ensure timely resolution of identified deficiencies. Oversee quality control activities for building envelope systems including roofing, wall assemblies, waterproofing, exterior cladding, curtainwall systems, doors, and glazing.
  • Conduct inspections of architectural systems including framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, painting, finishes, and associated architectural components.
  • Coordinate mock-up reviews and benchmark inspections to establish quality expectations and workmanship standards.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and test reports to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Track and manage quality observations, deficiencies, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action items.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to develop, implement, and verify corrective actions for identified quality issues.
  • Conduct punch list inspections and manage punch list items through final closure.
  • Verify field correction of deficiencies and quality-related observations prior to acceptance.
  • Maintain quality logs, inspection records, testing documentation, and turnover records in project management platforms such as Procore, ACC, or similar systems.
  • Coordinate third-party testing agencies and special inspectors to ensure required inspections and testing activities are properly scheduled and documented.
  • Monitor material receiving inspections and verify materials are stored, protected, and installed in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
  • Ensure completed work is properly protected to prevent damage, contamination, or deterioration prior to turnover.
  • Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC), subcontractor, coordination, and quality meetings to communicate quality status, risks, and required actions.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, superintendents, field engineers, design teams, and owner representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports identifying trends, open issues, corrective actions, and key quality metrics.
  • Identify recurring quality concerns and implement continuous improvement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Support project closeout activities by ensuring all required inspections, test reports, certifications, and quality documentation are complete and organized for turnover.
  • Promote a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project team.

Salary Range

$150,000—$200,000 USD
