About Poseidon Aerospace:
Poseidon Aerospace is reimagining how the world moves goods. We build and operate full-size autonomous cargo aircraft - capable of carrying two tons of payload over a thousand nautical miles. From remote communities to contested logistics operations, our platforms unlock a new cost curve for air freight, making it faster, cheaper, and accessible anywhere it's needed. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with locations in Washington DC, Oregon, and Maine; we're building something consequential.

What you’ll do
- Own accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, tax, treasury, procurement, and cash management.
- Provide leadership with a clear view of performance, liquidity, runway, and future capital needs.
- Develop Poseidon’s capital strategy across equity, loans, credit facilities, equipment financing, and leases.
- Lead financing processes and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and leasing providers.
- Evaluate major equipment purchases and investments based on return, cash flow, risk, and financing options.
- Build scalable financial systems, controls, and processes.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, board materials, audits, and financial diligence.
- Manage external accounting, tax, audit, and financial partners.

- Experience building financial systems and processes from the ground up.
- The ability to move comfortably between strategic planning, external negotiations, and detailed execution.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.
Experience with capital-intensive businesses, lender relationships, venture financing, or non-dilutive funding is a plus.
