FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Alexandria, LA is seeking motivated and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering flexibility to find the schedule that works best for you.

- $30–$35/hour
- 80 hours of vacation your first year, accrued based on hours worked
- Vacation increases by 8 hours each year, up to a maximum of 160 hours annually

What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their individual treatment goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide treatment in accordance with the Physical Therapist's established plan of care
- Guide and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor patient response and progress during treatment
- Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to provide a positive patient experience
- Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Louisiana PTA license or eligibility for Louisiana licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other team members
- Desire to continue learning and developing professionally
