Stellic is growing, and we're looking for a Product Delivery Lead to own partner success for one of our core product areas. You'll sit directly inside a product squad, alongside PMs, engineers, and designers, not off to the side in a services org.
ABOUT US
We're building a future where every student can move through their education with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Our platform transforms the student experience, giving them the tools they need to make the right decisions about their degree plans, track their journey, and build an education and career path that's truly their own.
Stellic is a fast-growing startup backed by leading social impact investors, partnering with top institutions like Cornell, Columbia, UVA, and Ohio State to support over 1 million students across 7 countries. As we scale to serve more universities worldwide, we remain deeply committed to this mission, driven by our values, and committed to building a high-performance team that's here to make a lasting difference on both students' lives and higher education.
ABOUT YOU
You think in product logic and systems, not just deliverables. You love understanding why something works the way it does, and how it could work better. You have a natural instinct for taking something messy and improving it significantly, whether that's a broken implementation, a confused partner, or a process that's been held together. You care more about the impact your work has on a partner than just checking the project off a list.
AS OUR PRODUCT DELIVERY LEAD, YOU WILL OWN
- Partner Implementations: Lead end-to-end implementation of your product area, from requirements and solution design through configuration, validation, launch and impact.
- Solution Design & Deep Troubleshooting: Translate partner goals into product setups that work today and hold up over time. When something breaks or stalls, you dig in and unlock it yourself rather than triaging it to someone else. You leverage the tools available to you, or find new ones, to get there when the answer is buried in the data.
- Product Mastery & Cross-Squad Awareness: You're deep enough in your product area that partners can't tell you apart from the Product Lead. You know why every decision in the product was made, and you have opinions on where it should go next. You also understand the rest of the platform well enough to spot the seams and cross-product opportunities before a partner points them out.
- Outcome Translation: Every partner conversation ends with a clearer line between how the product is configured and what the partner actually cares about, be it retention, advisor capacity, student outcomes. You know how to make that case to each persona (ex: a registrar, an advisor) in each of their own languages.
- Product-Over-Services Mindset: You treat manual, repetitive work as debt you're actively paying down through better configurations, repeatable patterns, playbooks other PDLs can run with, or by feeding sharp, specific feedback back into Product and Engineering.
- Quality Mindset: You define what "good" looks like for each partner's context, and you hold work back when it's technically working but not actually good. You identify patterns and bring them to the product squad, pushing to fix recurring issues across your partners and raising quality for everyone.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS implementation, solutions engineering, or a similar partner-facing delivery role
- A record of deep product mastery: You've owned a product area before and become the go-to expert on it, with a mastery gap close to zero versus the Product Lead you'll partner with
- Strong implementation architecture instincts: You can tell the difference between what a partner asked for and what they actually need, and you design for the latter. You can connect existing pieces to solve for the partner need.
- Working technical fluency: Comfortable enough with tools to query data, test integrations, and troubleshoot without routing everything to engineering (or you lean on AI tools to get there)
- A data-driven habit: You form a hypothesis before the partner call, not after; comfortable in CSVs, spreadsheets, and query editors, not just dashboards
- Clear communication and partner credibility: Partners and internal teams always know where things stand when you're involved, and you've built enough trust to push partners toward harder, better decisions
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
