The work you perform will help ensure the organization has the technology, information, and capabilities needed to support its workforce and accomplish its mission. 

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Collaborate with the existing team to provide development and support for mission-critical Security Applications, spanning various technologies across the stack.
  • Support and maintain 8 independent applications, utilizing front-end technologies such as Angular and Vue for user interface development.
  • Comfortable with being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor in software development to junior developers.
  • Work with a diverse range of backend technologies, including Node and Java, to ensure the seamless operation of critical applications.
  • Provide application development and production support, addressing issues and optimizing application performance for mission-critical functions.
  • Contribute to the design of Enterprise Applications, helping to create robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.
  • Code, test, and troubleshoot applications deployed within a cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and availability.
  • Engage in agile development practices using tools like Jira, collaborating closely with the team to deliver new functionality and modernize existing code bases.
  • participate in brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities for code base optimizations and innovative implementations that enhance the applications.
  • Utilize Git version control for efficient code management and collaboration with the team to provide high-quality products to the customer in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including security experts and stakeholders, to ensure the highest level of security and compliance in the development and support of mission-critical Security Applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL database experience
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, Node.js, AngularJS, Angular, VueJS or comparable JavaScript frameworks/libraries
  • Experience working with Git for source code management
  • Experience working with the AWS Platform
  • Experience working in an Agile Development Team
  • Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
