About the Role

We’re hiring our Senior Vice President of Legal (Global Infrastructure Projects) to lead legal
strategy and execution across Nscale’s global projects portfolio, including real estate, power
procurement, data centre design and construction, colocation leasing and fit-out works,
infrastructure procurement and related business services.

This is a strategic leadership role based in the United States with global scope, reporting
directly to the Chief Legal Officer with a dotted-line relationship to the Regional General
Counsel. You will partner closely with executive leadership, senior internal stakeholders,as
well as the Data Centre/Projects and AI Infrastructure teams to support the legal strategy,
negotiation, and execution of complex projects across multiple jurisdictions.

The role is central to enabling the successful delivery of large-scale developments by
providing commercially minded legal guidance across the full project lifecycle. From site
selection and energy arrangements through construction, procurement, and risk
management and bankability, your work will help shape how critical infrastructure is planned
and delivered globally.

What you'll be doing
● Lead legal strategy and execution for global infrastructure and data centre projects
across multiple jurisdictions.
● Partner with executive leadership and project teams on the strategy, negotiation, and
execution of large-scale developments across North America, APAC, the UK and
EMEA.
● Support project delivery across the full lifecycle with commercially-focused, legal
counsel.
● Advise on site selection, land acquisition, and related transactions.
● Oversee legal aspects of regulatory compliance, zoning, and permitting processes.
● Identify legal and regulatory risks connected to project development and
implementation.
● Provide legal advice on power reservation and energy supply arrangements.
● Counsel internal teams on data centre design and construction matters, including
consultation with our AI Infrastructure team for alignment with customer deployment
requirements.
● Mitigate risks tied to infrastructure, construction, and energy-related project work.
● Structure complex commercial agreements in partnership with internal stakeholders.
● Negotiate vendor, contractor, and other project-related commercial agreements.
● Lead procurement-related legal work supporting infrastructure development.
● Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
● Influence decision-making at executive level through clear, risk-based legal guidance.

About You
● 15+ PQE lawyer supporting infrastructure, construction, or energy projects
● Proven track record working on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional digital infrastructure
developments
● Deep expertise in commercial real estate and/or construction, regulatory frameworks,
and commercial contracting
● Strong leadership skills with experience operating effectively at executive level
● Demonstrated stakeholder management capability across senior internal and
external partners
● Excellent negotiation and influencing skills in complex commercial environments
● Strategic and commercially minded approach to legal problem-solving
● Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment, including
calmness under pressure
● High ownership and accountability with the ability to manage competing priorities

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$260,000—$460,000 USD
