SE Ranking is a profitable, growing B2B SaaS business – around 200 people, remote-first and globally distributed. Our websites are one of our largest acquisition assets and the first product experience most customers ever have — and there are a lot of them: several sites across our product suite, in multiple language versions. We're hiring a Website Lead to own all of it: the team, the web properties, and everything that ships.

This is a hands-on, build-oriented role. You'll lead our in-house web team, set the roadmap and the priorities, and be accountable for two things above all: how fast changes go live, and how well the sites run once they're there. You'll also build AI into how the whole team works, so that every process gets faster.

You'll work closely with marketing, content, design, SEO, and our country teams. If you're energised by owning a business-critical asset with a real team behind it and the authority to change how it works, in a fast-moving, low-ego, global team, this is your role.

What you'll do

  • Own our web properties end to end. Own the roadmap and the quality bar, along with the WordPress and multi-site setup behind our sites - integrations, performance, accessibility and reliability.
  • Manage multiple websites and language versions. Keep our sites and their local versions consistent and maintainable, built on shared templates and components.
  • Lead the web team. Manage and develop the in-house web team. Set priorities, run sprint planning and weekly reviews, and plan capacity.
  • Manage external partners. Contractors, agencies, budgets, timelines, and competing stakeholder priorities all sit with you.
  • Ship fast and reliably. Build a release process that gets changes live quickly without breaking things, and that tells marketing what is shipping and when.
  • Automate with AI. Find new ways of working with AI to speed up and improve the team's processes.
  • Drive CRO across our websites. Use analytics and user behaviour to find where visitors drop off, run A/B tests, and implement what wins.
  • Translate strategy into the website. Business, brand, and marketing strategies become website structure, messaging, user journeys, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate across teams. Work with marketing, content, design, SEO, PR and our country teams, scoping what they need and getting it built.

We're looking for someone who has

  • Senior website experience. 5+ years working on high-traffic marketing websites, including 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably in B2B SaaS. You've worked across several websites, markets, or localized versions.
  • A hands-on approach. You're comfortable with HTML and CSS, you can read the code and troubleshoot lightweight JavaScript, and you still do some of the work yourself alongside your team.
  • Delivery experience. You've run sprint planning, prioritisation and a release process you were accountable for, including work delivered by contractors or agencies.
  • Strong WordPress knowledge. Strong understanding of WordPress, multi-site environments, CMS architecture, integrations, website performance, and development workflows.
  • AI in your daily workflow. Tools like Claude and ChatGPT are part of how you already work, and you've built real automations with Claude skills and plugins, n8n, make.com or similar.
  • CRO and testing experience. Hands-on experience with conversion optimisation and A/B testing - you've run the tests and acted on the results.
  • Analytics knowledge. Strong knowledge of web analytics, tracking, attribution, and reporting tools such as GA4, GTM, Amplitude, or similar.
  • Web fundamentals. Understanding of UX/UI principles, SEO, accessibility, mobile optimization, and website security.
  • Commercial thinking. Strong understanding of how websites generate demand, trials, leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Clear communication in a distributed team. You're comfortable in an async-first, globally distributed environment where Slack and clear written communication are the default. Upper-intermediate English or above.

Bonus points, if you have

  • A technical background or experience in project managing technical teams.
  • Experience with a headless CMS or a modern frontend framework alongside WordPress.
  • Experience with Hubspot.

What we offer

  • 22 days of paid time off, plus your local national holidays
  • Flexible work hours and a culture that trusts you to manage your time
  • Private medical insurance or a medical allowance (depending on your location)
  • Extended paid sick leave so you can fully recover without worry
  • Career map with growth opportunities
  • Support for wellbeing and L&D
  • Best hardware for your work (team Apple)
  • An award-winning product loved by thousands of customers worldwide
