About the Role
This is the founding BDR seat at an early-stage AI startup selling intelligent agents into Europe's industrial enterprises. You'll own the entire top of funnel — working directly alongside the COO to open doors with procurement leaders and C-suite contacts at complex manufacturers and Mittelstand companies making critical AI decisions right now.
What You'll Do
- Make cold calls every day, treating each conversation as real-time market feedback and continuously refining your approach.
- Build and prioritize a target account list, identifying which industrial enterprises fit the ICP and which trigger events make outreach timely.
- Execute multi-channel outreach cadences (cold call, email, LinkedIn) relentlessly and feed insights back to sharpen messaging week over week.
- Work warm pipeline sourced from trade fairs, webinars, and existing relationships — deciding which leads move first and how to convert interest into booked meetings.
- Book qualified discovery meetings with procurement leaders and C-level contacts at complex industrial enterprises, with a focus on pipeline that moves ARR.
- Feed market intelligence — objections, patterns, and positioning signals — back to the broader team to inform go-to-market decisions.
- Shadow discovery calls today and grow into running them, with a clear path from BDR toward owning deals.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of commercial experience — in sales, fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or running your own venture — with a demonstrated track record of winning over stakeholders.
- Fluent German (essential for phone conversations with German industrial buyers) and strong professional English.
- Proven ability to execute cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn and convert contacts into qualified meetings with enterprise decision-makers.
- Experience building and running multi-channel sales sequences and prioritizing target accounts against an ICP.
- Comfortable in B2B or enterprise sales environments with complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making.
- Resilient by nature — you treat rejection as information and maintain high conversation quality through volume.
- Growth mindset: you actively seek hard feedback and have measurable week-over-week improvement to show for it.
- Familiarity with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or industrial operations is a plus.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms is a plus.
